Your Life Can Change In Three Months

Be ready for any start line—insights for those who train, lead, and show up under pressure.

Hey Team!

I’m reporting live from Tofino… and it feels like the longest stretch I’ve been grounded here without jumping on a plane. Two more weeks to go.

As much as I love travel, I also love being home. I’ve told you before: I’m a creature of habit. My days run like clockwork. And that routine gives me something rare. Something I never take for granted.

Every single morning, I get to share time with close friends. Not just a quick text or a like on Instagram. I mean real conversations: phone calls, usually 3 to 4 of them, before 7am.

I wake up between 3:45 and 4:00am, every day. Read a few pages of Yung Pueblo. Fuel up with oats and 48g of protein. Then I check in—with friends. We talk about what's alive for them, what they're navigating, and what’s next. Sometimes it’s personal. Other times it might be strategic. But it’s always raw and honest.

One of those friends is Alon. We speak every morning when I’m home. It’s a ritual. And it grounds me.

If you can, try making it part of your daily morning routine. Seriously. Even one friend. Watch how it shifts your morning. And if you need someone? I’ll be awake.

A Mental Edge

I’ve been saying this a lot lately: “Your life can change in three months.”

Not as a loose remark. As a fact. I’ve lived it.

One year ago, I committed to something wild: running a 125 km ultramarathon in three months. I had no business doing it. But I did it anyway. That decision sparked a chain of events. Most notably, it rewired how I see myself. It pushed me into a new season of confidence, clarity, and self-worth. And now, I’m doing it again.

This August, I’m heading to NYC for one month. Doing thirty run clubs in thirty days. Every single day, I’ll run with a different crew. I’ll be filming the journey… a mash-up of Casey Neistat vlogs and vintage AND1 mixtapes.

Is it a little wild? Definitely. But here’s my belief: getting on the start line, despite fear or judgment, always outweighs the outcome. I don’t know exactly what this will lead to. It might blow up. It might flop. But the cost of not doing it is way higher.

So I’m going. I’m running. I’m documenting it all. And I’m inviting you to follow along as it unfolds.

Big thanks to everyone who's helped me bring this to life.

From The Field

Yesterday in the gym, I saw something I won’t forget.

There’s a woman I see often—probably in her mid-40s. Quiet, focused, always puts in work. But this time? She was banging out weighted pull-ups. Full extension. Perfect form. A 25 lb plate strapped to her waist.

I stopped mid-set just to tell her how impressive it was. She smiled and said one word: “Consistency.”

That’s it. That’s the edge. You don’t need to run the furthest. Or take every supplement on the shelf. I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again (and again, and again): What always wins is showing up consistently.

Move your body. Eat whole foods. Prioritize protein. Hydrate. Get to bed on time. That’s the real performance plan. And it works every single time.

Quick Reminders Before You Start:

People message me all the time about the Yung Pueblo daily posts. Here is the trilogy that I cycle through. These have been a game-changer for me.

Have a NYC run club on your radar? Please send them my way. I’d love to check them out.

If there’s something on your heart, act on it. The risk of trying is rarely greater than the cost of holding back.

See you on the Start Line,
— Matty
